The two clocks
A vial runs out on whichever clock finishes first: the supply clock (total mg ÷ your dose = number of doses) or the stability clock (how long a reconstituted vial stays good — commonly 4–6 weeks refrigerated with bacteriostatic water).
The supply math never changes with water amount: a 5 mg vial at 250 mcg per dose holds 20 doses whether you added 1 ml or 5 ml. Water only changes the volume you draw per dose.
Worked examples
BPC-157, 5 mg vial, 250 mcg twice daily: 20 doses ÷ 2 per day = 10 days per vial. A 6-week protocol needs ~4 vials.
Semaglutide, 5 mg vial, 0.5 mg weekly: 10 doses = 10 weeks — here the stability clock (4–8 weeks) may expire before the supply does, which is an argument for smaller vials or accepting the loss.
Ipamorelin, 5 mg vial, 300 mcg nightly: ~16 doses = just over two weeks per vial.
When to discard regardless
Cloudiness, visible particles, color change (except GHK-Cu's natural blue) or a vial that's been warm for a day are all discard signals, whatever the calendar says. Peptide degradation isn't dangerous so much as pointless — you inject and get nothing — but contamination is a different story, and it's not worth the vial's remaining value.
