What Is TB-500?

Also known as: Thymosin Beta-4, TB4

TB-500 is the synthetic version of Thymosin Beta-4 (Tβ4), a 43-amino-acid protein found in nearly every human and animal cell, where it regulates actin — the structural protein cells use to move and rebuild. The injected research version is typically the active fragment of the full protein.

Because cell migration is central to wound repair, Tβ4 has been studied for healing across many tissues: skin, cornea, heart and muscle. The pharmaceutical version (timbetasin) reached human trials for cardiac repair. In the fitness world, TB-500 became the systemic half of the popular healing stack alongside BPC-157.

Side effects & safety

Community-reported effects are mild: temporary lethargy or a 'flu-ish' feeling after larger doses, injection-site redness. As with BPC-157, the systematic human safety record is thin, and the cell-migration mechanism argues for caution with any cancer history.

Legal & approval status

Not approved for human use; available as a research chemical. WADA-banned in sport. The parent molecule has been through legitimate clinical trials, but the gray-market fragment is not that product.
